Hi all -
I forwarded this info to RMS and here is his reply. I let him know that
Lucid and Thoughtstream fit the parameters of free software and that he'd
been nominated for that committee.
MS:
Needless to say you may not want to serve on a USPTO "Patent Advisory
Committee" but I'm sure you could sidestep the engagement if you wish to,
*if* the nomination comes to anything.
RMS:
I would be willing to serve by constantly rejecting the narrow parameters
of the questions they would ask us to consider.
Anyhow he knows what's happening now. I also forwarded SD's and BD's email
addresses.
