Then again, a lot of web site owners, like me, decided the hell with them and converted all GIFs to JPG and PNG. BT's patent will be interesting to follow. They have a couple things against them. One - they did not agressively pursue licensing. Two - public opinion. The fireworks will be fun to watch, especially if the patent is invalidated in one country and not another.
