It's free, but source isn't available. It's available on about 30
OS/version/architecture combinations (considerably fewer if you want to
use the GUI library). It looks rather perlish to me - lots of
special-purpose syntax (I know that special-purpose syntax is sort of
the point of the language, but that idea just doesn't sit well with me).
I don't see anything there that tempts me to leave python.
